We train for all the major events

Recently, there has been a surge in popularity for trail running and racing amongst recreational runners, and there is a good reason for it! There’s no better way to develop strength, flexibility, and balance than on the trails. Let us help you improve your skills and fitness in a safe and energizing way.

We have a program to suit rookies, veterans & everything in between! 

For the Rookie

5-week skills based program

Starts 8 October 2019

Pre-requisites:

  • Already running, this is for regular runners (e.g. can run 5-10km continuously) who are looking to try out trail running for the first time

What's involved? 

  • 4 week skills-based program. 

  • 2x trail runs per week

  • Option to join our strength program for injury prevention and performance

What equipment do I need?

  • Trail shoes recommended but not essential

  • Head torch (we have some if you would prefer to borrow)

  • The coach will chat to you about other equipment required for racing

When do we train? 

Choose from any of our trail sessions:

  • Wednesday 6:30pm St Leonards

  • Friday 6:00am Lane Cove

  • Saturday 7:00am various locations 

 

Goal Event

  • If you'd like to join us, we will be working towards the Bare Creek Trail Run on November 10th

  • Choose between 6km, 12km and 20km events

Cost

  • Free for unlimited members

  • $180 non-members

For the Veterans & everything in between

16 week skills & fitness program

Starts 27 Jan 2020

Pre-requisites:

  • Already participated in some trail running (race/event or in training)

What's included? 

  • 16 week skills and performance program

  • Choose between:

    • Short (5-25km)

    • Long (25-50km)

    • Ultra (50km+)

  • Complete 7 day program including 2x trail sessions per week + specialised strength training

  • 4x training runs in the Blue mountains hosted by our trail running expert coach

  • Trail t-shirt or singlet

  • Weekly email with training & race tips

  • 1x workshop 

What equipment do I need? 

  • Trail Shoes

  • Head torch

  • Hydration pack

When do we train? 

Choose from any of our trail sessions:

  • Wednesday 6:30pm St Leonards

  • Friday 6:00am Lane Cove

  • Saturday 7:00am various locations 

And any other session on our schedule, this is an unlimited training pass! 

Goal Event

  • We work towards many events,, primarily in the blue mountains & Kosciuszko

  • This program finishes in time for the UTA trail event in May 2020

Cost

  • Free for unlimited members

  • $50/week for non-members for the duration of the program
