Personal Training

WHO IS THIS GOOD FOR? 

Those who: 

  • Prefer training alone

  • Have specific needs and require that extra attention

  • Can't access our groups 

  • Need accountability, we are the training buddy that never cancels!

  • Have a short or no training history, and need to increase the chances of making training a lifelong habitual activity, and decrease your chances of injury and paying for a gym membership you stop using! 

  • Need to complement and excel your other training

  • Want a private session for yourself and your partner or family! ​

HOW DOES IT WORK??

 

  • We can be mobile, train at a time and place that suits you, including our indoor facility, your home, or a local park! 

  • Your initial session is complimentary and will involve testing and goal setting to help your trainer come up with a specific, challenging and achievable program

  • We'll match a trainer to your goals! Whether you need someone by your side for your long runs, or to get you started on your running journey. If you need specific injury prevention or rehabilitation training, we'll match you with the right expert! Theres no goal too small!

  • If you're training alongside a partner or family we will make sure all your goals are being catered for.  

 

WHY PERSONAL TRAINING?

 

  • At North Shore Running & Fitness we understand that group and semi-private training isn't accessible or appealing to everyone, so we want to create an environment where you are comfortable.

  • We can work with and around your busy lifestyle! Making time for training can be a juggle, so we'll take the stress off and adapt to your schedule as much as we can! 

  • We don't aim to train you privately forever, we want to teach you how to train and maintain a strong, mobile and functional system! 

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

 

  • $110 (incl GST) for 60 mins session

Semi-Private Strength and Conditioning

WHO IS THIS GOOD FOR? 

Those who:

  • Like the camaraderie of training alongside others

  • Have big goals! 

  • Have current or history of injuries that have limited training and performance 

  • Avoid strength and conditioning and need accountability, 

  • Wouldn't have a clue what they are doing in the gym, and need help with programming and technique 

  • Have a long training history, but want us to write your programs, spot your lifts and work out your training phases around your season - you can relax and just turn up! 

HOW DOES IT WORK??

 

  • All semi-private strength and conditioning is held at our indoor facility in Lane Cove

  • Your initial one-on-one session will involve testing and goal setting to help your trainer come up with a specific, challenging and achievable program

  • Book into your weekly session(s) at a time that suits you. You will follow your individual program, while training alongside 2-3 others and coached by a strength and conditioning specialist. 

  • Every 4-6 weeks you will receive a one-on-one session with your preferred trainer to re-evaluate and progress your program. 

 

WHY SEMI-PRIVATE TRAINING?

 

  • At North Shore Running & Fitness we believe that training needs to be specific, accessible and affordable.

  • To get the best results it is recommended that you train 2-3 times per week.  

  • Semi-private training gives you the flexibility to book into numerous time slots at a more affordable price than personal training.

  • We stick to a ratio of 1 trainer to 2-3 clients, 

  • With your regular one-on-one catch-ups with your trainer, you can be sure that you are being progressed at the right rate for maximum results

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

 

​1 session per week = $68 (incl GST)

Recommended for those who are already participating in a regular physical activity or training program and need a personalised program to complement their training. 

2 sessions per week = $115 (incl GST)

Recommended for those who are not doing any other strength training and need to complement their training to be strong and injury free.

3 sessions per week = $135 (incl GST)

Recommended for those who are looking for a complete strength & conditioning program.

Online Training

WHO IS THIS GOOD FOR? 

Those who:

  • Are big on goals and short on time

  • Are admirers from afar, love our work but can't get to us regularly, we have clients all over the state! 

  • Are runners, triathletes, cyclists or multi-sport athletes who need a complete periodised program, and their training load monitored across all disciplines, including strength and mobility.

  • Want to mix and match with face-to-face training  

HOW DOES IT WORK??

 

  • After an initial consultation either in person or over zoom, we will determine your training goals and needs. 

  • We will onboard you to our Training Peaks platform and set up your first training cycle

  • Each running, swimming or cycling workout can be synched to most GPS watches

  • Strength, cross training and mobility workouts will be delivered by video or PDF. 

  • You tick off your workout or we will chase you for it! Feel free to leave us a comment about how much you loved to hate that workout and we'll show you some love when you smash each session! 

 

WHY ONLINE TRAINING?

 

  • At North Shore Running & Fitness we recognise that face-to-face training isn't available to everyone

  • This way you can have your personal trainer, your endurance coach, and your biggest cheerleader in your pocket! 

  • For those competing in multi-sport or endurance events, we have the ability to determine, review and analyse your training load to ensure you are experiencing endurance benefits without overreaching or under performing

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

 

  • ​$100 (incl GST) per month

TERMS & CONDITIONS

There are no contracts, sign up fees or minimum training periods. You can stop or pause at any time!

  • Autopay's are scheduled in advance, i.e. you will be charged before you train

  • Please contact North Shore Running and Fitness when you wish to pause or stop training

  • A minimum of 3 days notice before the next autopay is required

 

At North Shore Running and Fitness we understand emergency's happen and we will try to be as accommodating as possible to reschedule your appointment before cancelling it.


If a rescheduled appointment can be made for that day - we will endeavour to change the time for you.


In the circumstance, that the appointment needs to be cancelled we will abide by following policy


North Shore Running and Fitness Cancellation Policy:

  • All appointments will be scheduled directly between North Shore Running and Fitness and the client, online, in person or via telephone.

  • Subsequently, if a client has to cancel or reschedule any previously scheduled appointments, the client must contact the scheduled practitioner directly at least 8 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment.

  • If a client does not cancel or reschedule an appointment at least 8 hours in advance, North Shore Running and Fitness reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee equivalent to a full service fee that would normally be charged for that session.

  • If a client fails to appear for a scheduled appointment, North Shore Running and Fitness reserves the right to charge a no show fee equivalent to the service fee that would have been charged for the session.

  • All cancellations must be made 8 hours in advance by phone, text or email
