About the Event

Curious about the physiology behind running? What makes our bodies capable of endurance running? Come along to our next workshop, on Sunday July 31st, to find out, and see how you can apply it to your training to improve your endurance! 

Starting with a presentation from our head exercise physiologist, Sophie, you'll learn all about: 

  • Running Physiology - how do we run? 
  • vO2 and lactate threshold - what are they? 
  • Your body's adaptation 
  • Endurance vs strength 

Following that, our head running coach, Andy, will give a presentation on how you can apply your newfound knowledge to your training, to make the most of your training sessions and see continual improvements in your performance.
