About the Event
Come along and join Coach Andy for our first trail super session of 2021. We have a new run location in Winmalee (less that 60 mins drive from Lane Cove) which will be a great introduction to trails in the Blue Mountains as we gear up for the upcoming range of running events on offer.
We will be running a loop course that starts from the Blue Gum Swamp trail and up to the Shaws Ridge trail which brings us back to where we started (9km loop).
For those who wish to add on more distance (and challenge !) there will also be an out and back option taking the Bees Nest trail to the Grose Head South lookout (+4.5km with a good solid climb !).
We will be starting the run at 7:00am meeting at the end of White Cross Rd, Winmalee.
Most of the run is well sheltered but please bring plenty of water to drink (and splash on you !)
The cost will $20 (per session) for members and casuals, free for those in the UTA training programs.
